Release Announcements

Dear TYPO3 users,

we are happy to announce that TYPO3 version 4.0.2 is ready for download.

As the version number shows, this is a maintenance release. No database 
updates needed!

TYPO3 4.0.2 contains some minor bugfixes, but it also fixes a tiny security 
issue in the indexed search extension. For details, see [1].

Upgrades from TYPO3 4.0 are recommended and there is nothing that will break a 
working 4.0 installation.
